My name is Matt “Mattyice” Smyth and I couldn’t carry a note if it had a handle on it. Strangely enough, I always had a strong ear for music.

Growing up, I’d watch my uncle DJ a variety of different private events. The way he was able to create the appropriate atmosphere and have a fun time doing it inspired me to follow in his footsteps.

After years of developing my DJ skills, I’ve landed in Boston where I have been DJing bars, clubs, and private events across Massachusetts.

I look forward to each event and take pride in quality work, using detailed planning and coordination to executive effectively

My Uncle, Eugene Smyth, began his DJ career in 1986 while attending Southern Connecticut State University. His passion for music inspired me to follow in his footsteps and pick up where he left off.
